A touch of old Sonoma . . . Experience the warmth of this country home in the historic neighborhood just a block from the Plaza. The Hidden Oak is a tastefully restored California Craftsman Bungalow built in 1914. This large, two-story house framed in Wisteria, has a high gabled roof and was a home for teachers and nurses during WWII. Many families have also lived in this home until 1984 when it was purchased to establish The Hidden Oak Bed & Breakfast. A delicious full breakfast is served on the weekends and an expanded Continental breakfast is served on weekdays, both are served in the Dining Room or feel free to take a tray to your room. The guestrooms are spacious and each is named for it's lovely décor. All rooms are located upstairs and include queen-sized beds, ceiling fans, central air-conditioning and private baths. 707-996-9863

In 1990 Blackstone Winery was founded with the purpose of making exceptional wine. The winery quickly gained a reputation for making ultra-premium Merlot and currently Blackstone is one of the nation’s top selling Merlots. In 1998 Blackstone Winery opened a tasting room in historic Graton in the Russian River area of west Sonoma County. At the end of August 2002. Blackstone Winery is embarking on a wonderful new adventure. We will be moving our tasting room to the beautiful town of Kenwood in the world-renown Sonoma Valley. The Thistle Dew Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in the charming wine-country town of Sonoma, California, one of the state's most historic communities. The Inn's superb location in a residential area just one-half block from the Sonoma Plaza makes for easy walking to the area's many shops, restaurants and historical sites. The two homes which comprise the Inn, one built in 1869 and the other in 1910, are surrounded by gardens. Sonoma Valley's premium wineries are just a short bike ride away. There are six guest accommodations, four rooms and two suites, all with private bath, queen bed, ceiling fan, CD player and telephone with voice mail. The Inn is centrally air-conditioned and heated.
